S3 Corp. is among Top 30 Vietnamese ICT companies announced

A list of Vietnam’s 30 leading information and communication technology (ICT) companies in 2014 were announced by the Vietnam Software  outsourcing and IT Services Association (VINASA) on October 27.

These ICT firms, specialising in software engineering and BPO/outsourcing/offshore, will be introduced to potential customers and partners in nearly 100 countries and territories around the world.

The announcement of these leading companies comes as part of preparations for the upcoming Vietnam ASOCIO ICT Summit 2014, the largest IT event in Asia and Oceania, slated for October 28-31 in Hanoi and Da Nang.

The event marks the first time Vietnam has held an event of this size to promote a specific economic sector on the world stage, helping to expand their markets and establish Vietnam’s position in the value-added chain of the global IT industry.

Doctor Mai Liem Truc, the jury chairman, said the selected companies are not the largest in their field. but are taking the lead in market segments, are able to compete with foreign enterprises, and have well-developed strategies for expansion. .

These 30 companies used about 15,000 workers and generated a total revenue of over US$300 million in 2013. Many of them are successfully operating in large markets such as Japan, Europe and America, contributing to enhancing Vietnam’s image in the world IT industry. Prominent among the list are FPT Software, CMC, HiPT, Tinh Van, MK Smart, and NTT Data Vietnam. VINASA has compiled a special publication named ‘Vietnam’s 30 Leading ICT Companies 2014′ in English and Japanese including 8,000 copies and online versions to introduce these prominent companies in the Vietnam software outsourcing and Vietnam software services  to the world.
